Final book in the trilogy builds up well and lets you see more of the background and motivations for various characters. It’s got some exciting action as you see the main cast uncover more of their powers and the circumstances drive them towards a final series of clashes. However, I was really disappointed by the ending. It felt to me like some of the story arcs we built upon the entire book ended in a let down or a way that didn’t really make sense, even within this fantasy universe. Overall I liked the series, just wish the ending was more satisfying.
