Heartless by Elsie Silver

5.0

I am officially all in on Elsie Silver. Heartless was just so damn good. Grump older single matched with a sassy sunshine of a character. Yes. Yes. Yes.

I freakin' loved every single minute of this book. Daddy Cade is hot, but Willa was the star of the show in my opinion. That girl had a comeback for everything & her loyalty to the people she loves is something fierce. Add in a really cute kid named Luke & all the regular players you meet in Flawless and you got a hell of a book. I finished this one and literally started a countdown for Powerless.

Read if you like
- grumpy/sunshine
- forbidden work romance
- small town
- single dad
- YELLOWSTONE

Final Thoughts: This was my absolute favorite of the two. This grumpy/sunshine trope was perfectly executed. The banter. The slow burn. The freakin' cowboys. I found myself laughing out loud at the things Willa said. I teared up over moments with Luke. The spice was the perfect amount. Read Flawless. Then read Heartless. Do it now. So you can be ready for the 3rd installment of the Chestnut Springs: Powerless.
