Unlearn: 101 Simple Truths for a Better Life by Humble the Poet

Unlearn is an Excellent read, I enjoyed every page of this book! Heartfelt, honest, and poignant. I read “don’t sweat the small stuff” alongside this book, and while they are both ultimately trying to achieve the same thing (help people better themselves), I think that Unlearn does a phenomenally better job. I basically dog-earred and underlined the whole book (judge me if you want lol). I look forward to reading it again, and seeing what new insights I can glean the next time. Also I’m looking forward to writing my own chapter, I think it’s so sweet that he includes space for the reader to do so - it’s very humble, which is apt. By doing so, he’s acknowledging that everyone has something unique to offer, and that he is not above the person reading this book. He also encourages the reader to send him their chapter once they have finished, and gives his email. I think he’s a really special person for writing this book, and I will treasure it always!
