I first found Gia when I read Rock the Boat and boy was that an awesome book! Rock the Boat was the first on intertwined stand alone books about a hot rock band.

Rock the City was just as good as the first! I was in a reading slump before I plowed through this book! I’m a sucker for rock star romance and this one will be at the top of my list!!

Gia Riley is a a master of words and is able to evoke a vast array of emotions within the same chapter! Laughing one minute, nearly in tears the next. Lane (the drummer of the band) was able to make my stomach flutter and my heart skip a beat with just the words that he said to his love interest, Noelle. I wanted to be Noelle on more than one occasion. Gia not only can dial in the romance but she is able to have enough angst and twists and turns in the plot to keep you on the edge of your seat…. it really is the best of both worlds!

I can’t wait to see what she had in store for the rest of the Midnight Fate band!
