๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐’๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ is the long-awaited second book in the Backstage Pass series by K. Bromberg, featuring a must-read marriage of convenience, rockstar romance for Jase Gizmodo and Hendrix Wright. Heโ€™s a rockstar with a reputation on life support, and a conservative judge is ready to pull the plug on his career, unless he settles down with an appropriate woman. A chance encounter brings him Hendrix, a cooking-baking extraordinaire on the verge of losing her business and her dream at the hands of an exโ€™s betrayal. It was supposed to be a temporary deal to help them both, but they never imagined the chemistry or feelings that might develop!

I canโ€™t tell you how excited I was to jump back into this world, and what a ride it was!! There is just something special about the way K. Bromberg writes a bad boy character who really is that broken soul still reeling from a tragic past! The way she mines that emotion and weaves it through the story is just perfection! The mental health rep here and the impact it has on the whole family was just phenomenal! This story was about so much more than the romance, although that was fantastic, too! Both Jase and Hendrix offered compelling layers to love. Jaseโ€™s ability to see her so clearly and offer her that affirmation and protectiveness was so swoon-worthy, and Hendrix showed incredible strength despite what sheโ€™d been through, even through the angsty and dramatic moments. I loved their dynamic with each other, the connection, the understanding, and yes, the passion. This story is about healing, and finding yourself, and acceptance, and maybe a little forgiveness, too. When I got to the most beautiful second epilogue, I cried so much! Bravo!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
