The Sinner by Tess Gerritsen

4.0

Another incredibly twisted thrilling book by Tess Gerristen. I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. I literally took my time in getting around to reading the last couple of chapters because i didn’t want it to end.

Two Nuns, one dead & one seriously injured. Who on earth would want to harm such innocent woman of god? Rizzoli & Isles uncovering another crime, finding out buried secrets and trying to catch who did it. When a new Victim is found with her Hands, feet and… face gone things take a really dark turn, with so much more to uncover. I really loved how dark this book was, with a lot of heavy topics not for the faint hearted. This book had a lot to unpack and multiple different paths to follow but i found it so easy to follow along, with a new twist and piece of information to uncover with every page you turn it is impossible to get bored with this book.

I’m really glad we got to see more of an insight into Maura Isles personal life and dive deeper into who she is as a person. I’m also happy to see a new vulnerable side of the “tough” Jane Rizzoli. As i’m reading this series i’m noticing huge character building defining moments which makes it really enjoyable to read.

The ending of this book was definitely not what i expected but really just makes sense, the corruption, lies and betrayal and huge plot twists, what more could you want in a book?
