What a nice surprise! I wish we could give half stars -- I'd actually give this one 3.5 stars.
Lovely writing and a compelling story. I couldn't put this book down and I found myself thinking about it, even after I had finished it. I liked the mystery of the planet that Lilac and Tarver crash landed on, the fantastical sci-fi elements, and the surprise but maybe-a-bit-too-neat ending.
All in all, quite enjoyable. I would recommend this one.
