This was definitely a slow-burn of a book for me, but I genuinely loved all the characters and the message. I enjoyed the nuances of each character and the emphasis on the idea that no one is inherently bad, but that our experiences and environments shape us into who we are. It was easy to feel empathy for every character, even when their less-than-perfect side showed.
