This one was the second work by Jane Austen I read, the first was Pride and Prejuiduce. It is much shorter and much less popular. I was very excited when I started reading it, the impressions after reading P& P only some 7 or 8 months ago still there. However, the first part of the book I found a little hard to get through, maybe because my heart just couldn't  bear Anne and Captain Wentworth being so close together all the time but having completely no relations. I also was reading it in English, so maybe that was another reason why it took me quiet a while to get through. And getting through it I thought I'd rate it 4 out of 5, because I found something missing.  Only for my feelings toward it to  alter afterwords. I found the relationship to be most realistic, most probable, yet so pure, beautiful and well persuasive.
Update : thought about it, and well it is a 4 stars.
