Weird Wedding at Wonky Inn by Jeannie Wycherley

5.0

Alf is finally ready for her soft opening of the Inn and much to her surprise she receives a request to host a wedding on the same night as her soft opening, after humming and haring she finally agrees to host it. Now she is worrying about the wedding going off without a hitch, the townspeople seeing her as one of them, what happened to Mr Pearce and if the Mori are back. Fortunately she has a lot of support including DS Gilchrist, Rhona, Charity, Millicent and all the ghostly staff of the Inn to help, but will it be enough. I loved how we were kept guessing in regards to the intentions of the wedding being held at midnight on October 31st as well as who or what is causing people to fall ill in the town but my biggest concern while reading was would the town turn against Alf even though all she wants to do is bring the Inn back to life and be apart of the close knit community. I just love how with each book I have fallen more in love with the Wonky Inn and all of it's inhabitants along with a few of the townsfolk.
