Holy smokes, I couldn't put this book down. Every time I had to, all I wanted to do was go back to it and keep reading. The twist was mildly expected, I had guessed who the true villain was but not to the extent or why they were the villain. I was clenching every muscle in my body before I was even a quarter in, this author really knows how to flesh out characters and how to keep the reader guessing at every turn! I simply can't wait to get started on the next book in the trilogy!
