The Final Girl Support Group

This was such a cool spin on classic slasher tropes. It felt like a love letter to horror. Things started a little slow for me, but once it picked up, I was all in. The book is told through the eyes of Lynette—a messy, traumatized, flawed protagonist who makes some wild choices… I loved how Grady Hendrix leaned into her unreliability without ever making her feel unbelievable. She’s paranoid and frustrating, but in a way that feels real.
My biggest issue is the ending...I wish Stephanie was not allowed into the support group. She's a murderous, homicidal maniac yet she gets a redemption moment because the members blame Skye for manipulating/grooming her. I guess she did get consequences in the eyes of the law, but I felt she could've faced more blame.
My biggest issue is the ending...
