Endgame: The Calling
by James Frey, Nils Johnson-Shelton
This was an interesting experience. I went into this book not knowing what to expect and was caught by surprise by many aspects of this. I did not know this was YA but it was surprisingly mature for a YA book and a lot more violent than you'd think which are all the things I loved. The way this book is written is a bit exhausting to read at times and it a tad bit too dramatic for my taste but I guess it worked with the plot. I liked the way this one ended even though very little is actually explained but the whole book is just one "go with the flow" vibe so why did I expect anything different.
I doubt I'll ever continue the series since I'm not invested enough but I'm glad I've read this, even though I'm almost 10 years late to the party.
