I enjoyed this story. It had cozy moments, but the ghost bits were intense and depicted very well.

I got attached to the characters very quickly. I appreciated the conversations about grief that were added in. It is something a lot of people don't really know how to talk openly about. It was nice to see Blue, who has his own trauma, and carries his own grief pause to comfort another. I have been in a relationship with someone like Mason when I had a close loss, and it just hurts that the one you love doesn't know how to handle it.

I loved the connections they discovered about the ghosts. It was nice to have the scary murder mystery mixed with the characters' relationship building. I am glad this was selected by my online book club.
