I wanted to like this but this shit was cringey asf and I was ready to DNF it by chapter 2. 😫
I wouldn’t call this a romance and don’t know why it is marketed as one. Its more of an erotic melodrama. For having so many important characters and having started off in Shantae’s POV, the fact that most of this was in Dorian’s POV upset me. It seems like none of these people were likable and I did not have a good time. Plus I was pretty much able to predict the twist by chapter 3 because shit was far too convenient and we never jumped into anyone else’s POV. It was fine I just hated being in the mind of a jerk who felt sorry for himself and justified lying and cheating. Overall, I want to say “haha loser” to Dorian.
