I am always game for a Jenny Colgan novel and when I came across this gem while visiting Magic City Books in Oklahoma I HAD TO HAVE IT! I'm so glad I bought it, but have to say it is definitely not my favorite Jenny Colgan. The main character was humorous but tough for me to relate to. And I felt that I was left wanting in the romance department. However, with this being one of Jenny Colgan's first novels that has been reprinted for the USA, I have to say it was a fun return to the 90s and how a romance could have happened then.
