My kid asked me to read this and I can see why they like it. But I am too old to identify with stubborn teens, and I ended up finding the conclusion fairly unsatisfying, as only a couple of the plots resolved, and the characters I was more interested in were left dangling, possibly for the sequel. But YA needs more genderqueer lesbian content so that gets a hell yes from me.
