The Last Coyote by Michael Connelly
3.0
Despite how I rolled my eyes until they ached when we are introduced to the love interest-- I still find this series compelling and readable. In this volume, Harry tackles the case that has shaped his entire life--his mother's unsolved murder.
We are treated to lots of aggro going off on Internal Affairs, illicit smoking, alcoholism, and a satisfyingly complicated mystery. It's everything you expect from this series.
