I really enjoyed this book. It gives off Bridgerton and She's the Man vibes. At first, it was a little slow and then things started happening and I was like okayyy now I'm interested. In the middle of things, I assumed everything was going to be resolved and didn't seem like a good set up for sequels but I see now where it's going and I'm excited to continue on. I loved the accurate depiction of what was going on during this time and the different black experiences happening so close to each other.
