I was very excited to read this as I loved the first part of the duology. However, although I enjoyed the writing, the love story, the message and the characters I found that the story itself fell a bit flat. There were things that I was excited to find out in this book and they never came to light. The ending was abrupt and the lead up to it felt rushed.
