Wow.
I absolutely loved Beautiful Ugly! It’s been a while since I’ve read a mystery/thriller that kept me this engaged from start to finish. There were twists I thought I had figured out, and just when I felt confident in my predictions, she would reveal them, only to completely turn things upside down a few pages later. This book was truly an unpredictable and thrilling read.
This was my first time reading Alice Feeney, and I was immediately drawn to her writing style. Her ability to craft vivid imagery is flawless, bringing the setting to life in a way that made it feel almost like another character in the story. The characters themselves were well-developed and diverse, each adding something unique to the narrative. Their connections and the way their stories unfolded kept me fully invested.
If you enjoy thrillers that keep you guessing with unexpected twists and immersive storytelling, Beautiful Ugly is a must-read. Alice Feeney has definitely earned a spot on my list of authors to keep up with, and I can’t wait to dive into more of her work!
