I cannot give 5 stars due to some problematic language use by the author in this book. However, the dark themes surrounding mental illness are my exact cup of tea. This book makes me feel like God based my life off of Esther’s. Not in a narcissistic sick way, but in a why do I have to be doomed kind of way. I’ll always love this book. The ending is gut wrenching in an existential kind of way.
