I feel like The Moon Dwellers had a lot of potential, but never delivered.

There was a lot of buildup for when Adele and Tristan would finally meet, but it wasn't until the end of the book that they did, and in my opinion it wasn't worth the time took to get there. And they won't even be together in the next book so that's disappointing.

The world-building was really good, I always had a sense of where they were and why and how their government (bad as it was) worked.

All the characters were pretty interesting, I guess. Nothing too special.

I like Adele and Tristan's names. Not too confusing, but perfectly unique.

It's hard for me when characters die in the first book of a series, because with only a few exceptions I'm not close enough to them by then to care about whether they die or not, so it's sad that Cole was killed off so early. I feel like I could've really mourned his death if it hadn't been so soon.
