OH. MY. GOSH. AHHHHH!!!! I cannot even EXPRESS how much I loved this book. This book was also not my favorite. That goes to the last book that I am currently reading, but STILL. This book was everything I hoped it would be. I looked at this review on Good Reads that was 1 star, which is crazy, and everything about it was just not really accurate. Celaena did not just RANDOMLY decide to become Aelin. Because of the help Rowan gave her she started seeing herself as not just this assassin, but as a queen. Which she is. And she's trying to step up into that role. The romance was GREAT (even if nothing really happened until the end of the book)
I ABSOLUTELY FREAKING LOVE AELIN AND ROWAN TOGETHER. They are probably my OTP, not even lying.
ALSO. Elide and Lorcan? BEAUTIFUL. I love the both of them so much, despite most people not liking Lorcan. He's just a poor lost soul in need of love lol.
ANYWAY. PLEASE please please read this book. It is amazing.
