Full of mystery and intrigue, The Lies They Tell has been compared to E. Lockhart’s We Were Liars. Alas, French has not pulled off a twist ending as masterfully as Lockhart did. Yet this is still an enjoyable slow-burning mystery that thriller fans will love.
