Message in a Bottle
by Nicholas Sparks
Well that was a waste! Why did he have to die?
This book is a definite tearjerker, and the letters are downright mushy and sweet. The start of the book was beautiful, and the finish, despite my dislike of such terrible ends, was also an amazing closed cycle of events.
However, [a:Nicholas Sparks|2345|Nicholas Sparks|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1468247396p2/2345.jpg] dragged on a bit too much in most of the middle parts of the story.
I loved the characters, Theresa was strong, smart and kind, and Garrett's penmanship is what forces you to sit with a box of tissues when you read his letters; and their relationship was so real and inspiring.
The book is a quick light read, however, it is not one of the better romance novels that I have read in the past.
