A solid start to the series, Skip Beat has a very memorable beginning. When I first read this volume, I remember feeling bad for Kyoko loosing her ability to want love, letting herself be loved. The little grudge Kyokos are hilarious and add a fun twist to what is otherwise a contemporary coming of age story.
