Reread - Back in the 80s, as a preteen, I loved Lois Duncan books specifically Strangers with My Face. The supernatural storyline about twins and astral projection fascinated me. However, upon rereading it recently, I found that the book hasn't aged well. Its content includes outdated and problematic elements, such as fat-phobic remarks and racially/culturally insensitive comments. These aspects take away from the story and reflect the less inclusive attitudes of its time.

While the plot remains interesting, I’m uncertain if newer editions have addressed these issues. It’s a story with potential, but be aware of its dated perspectives.
