Yona of the Dawn, Vol. 1 by Mizuho Kusanagi
5.0
This was a fun anime, so I decided to try the manga. While I miss the color, it was fun, and slightly heart wrenching, to see the beginning of Yona and Hak's story again. I really love the cover, and I will be continuing the series so that I can see past where the anime left off. I'm excited to meet each of the dragons, and see how Yona grows and changes throughout the story, as she starts off a bit whiny and immature. That said, she grows into someone strong, capable, and really endearing as the story goes on. 4 stars!

This was a fun reread! It's exciting to re-experience the story after having read so much of it. The art is gorgeous! 5 stars.
