About a Boy by Nick Hornby

2.0

As an avid fan of the movie, reading this book brought out memories. And even though the first part was pretty interesting, the second part felt rushed and the ending a let down. It didn't give a solid climax to justify the characters' development. The writting, in addition, is light and fun, but it doesn't allow for a more in depth analysis of the situations. Also, the both POVs felt like reading about the same character, with no age difference.
