The Lost Book of the White by Cassandra Clare
4.0
So, it has well and truly been a hot minute since I last picked up a Shadowhunter world book and I was not sure how well this was going to go because of how long I have been out of this world. But I was pleasantly surprised.
I actually quite enjoyed this one. It was a fun time, and it was interesting to see more of the Shadowhunter world rather than just sticking with the US/UK locations that we have seen so far.
Also seeing the change in Alec & Magnus’ relationship has been fun. Especially now that they have Max, it adds a new level to their lives that is interesting to follow as readers.
I’m also intrigued by what exactly it means to be an “Eldest Curse”. I assume it has something to do with the offspring of the demon being able to slay the demon or something like that, but I wouldn’t put any money on that being the outcome.
