One Hundred Years of Solitude
by Gabriel García Márquez
A vicious cycle. The curse that no generation is able to escape. This book is worth the hype. For me the experience of reading it and melancholy slowly creeping up under my skin right up to the ending and then you stare at the wall is very rewarding.
There is so much details in the book that screams reread to honestly appreciate the intelligence of Marquez. The theme of passing of time, death and destruction plays beautifully with Buendia family. I would love to read this again and get more out of the book (maybe treat it as an acedemic exercise to grasp minute details ;))
