This book was amazing. I normally steer clear of creature features because they don’t terrify me the way other aspects of horror do, however this book did the trick. Whilst I found the monsters themselves mildly scary, i find it unbelievable somebody managed to craft a book so bleak, and after 281 pages, there was still a bitter taste left on my tongue (let’s just say it was less than a happy ending).
