Easily in my top 3 books I've read this year so far. From that explosive start to the bittersweet ending. The complex characters and their messy, turbulant and real emotions.
I loved Mars, at so many points I just wanted to hug them so hard. The horror, trauma and grief he's been subjected to over the story broke my heart. The supernatural horror mystery running underneath the tale of walking through grief really just made this book perfect.
Highly, HIGHLY reccomend this rollercoaster. It's gory at points, horrific and terrifying, but also such a raw experience at the same time.
