Jessica Joyce truly is a top-tier romance author for me. She can write so beautifully not only amount romantic relationships but platonic ones too. Dare I say that Georgia’s friendships nearly overshadowed her romantic attraction to Eli. NEARLY! Because then, to really round out the talent, Joyce can singe the page with the spice! I loved the representation here of therapy, anxiety, and growing-up/growing-apart angst. This story had humor and spice but real conflict and feelings.
