If you have watched the movie you might be aware that the movie is very book accurate. But in the movie the plot of the hunger games has been changed a lot. I can't help but think about this fact and the fact that the reason for changing it was probably to make it more entertaining for the viewer. Which is absurd when you think about it. Because in the original hunger games the capitol is such a big fan of the hunger games because of its entertainment.
So what does that say about the producers and us viewers?
Anyway the book was as expected well written personally though the peacekeeper part was dragging on and for me the pacing was a bit off.
I also can't come up with a reason why snow & lucy fell in love like there was not a single spark between the two and they had SUCH different opinions. Like I believe snow was just blindly falling for a girl but at least lucy should have had enough brain to realize what kind of monster she's dating ... (I mean obviously she did at one point ... but it took a lot of time)
