Man, this book started slow for me, like I knew Kay was going through it after last book, but the beginning of this one was slooww! BUT in true Patricia Cornwell fashion, once it started to pick up you were catapulted in a high speed roller coaster all of the way to the end!🤯 woof!! I miss Benton, his lack of presence stung the worse in this book, and finding out all that he had to deal with before he died!? Ugh. So awful! Overall this was a good book! I love her writing, I love these characters and am so glad there are so many books!!
