It's taken me so many years to finish this book and I can't tell you why.

I knew I'd love this book from the very first time I tried reading it but for some reason I just couldn't get past the first few chapters. But I was motivated this time because someone kept talking about how amazing the show is and I'm the kind of nonsense human that wants to read the book before watching the show, and that's what I've done.

It took me about a day to do what I have been trying to do for what most be five (5) years now. But it's done! I read the book and I loved it. I love Juliette the most and still think Bernard is a little b#tch and deserves nothing good in the world. I loved Lukas from the very first moment he was introduced and was routing for him to succeed in life. I also really liked Shirly and Walker. I enjoyed learning about all the characters actually!

I loved the story, and the wiritng style. I knew I'd love this, knew I'd enjoy it and maybe it was my high expectations for it that made keep stopping, maybe because I was afraid of being disappointed by it. But, thankfully, I wasn't disappointed and this book is right up my alley.

I don't even know if season one (1) is solely based on Wool, but I'll likely only be reading the next book when season two (2) comes out.

TLDR: Great read, enjoyed it, knew I would, even though it took me about five years to actually get to it!
