The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett
3.0
3.5 stars
This was entertaining and extremely imaginative. I really liked Tiffany as a character, and I thoroughly enjoyed the flashbacks to her grandmother, who was quite a character herself.
The one thing that prevented me from really getting into the book, though, is that it sometimes had a tendency to overdo the jokey bits, to the extent that I thought it rendered the jokes unfunny. I found myself tiring of the drawn-out nature of the jokes and eager to get back to the story itself.
