This book, y'all. It absolutely blew me away. I mean, from the start, I was pulled into the story, by the characters, by the writing style. It all pulled me in and hooked me!
Ivy & Wells. What a couple they made! He was a OTT possessive hero and what fun it was to watch him with Ivy. The way he praises her......SWOON!!!!
But, not only do we get ππ’ππ―ππ£π, π€ππ π©ππ ππππ§π©π¨ chemistry with these two, we get the suspense, the action that comes with dark Mafia books. π±πππππ’ π·π’πππ did a phenomenal job with it! I couldn't get enough!
And, can we talk about ππππ πππ π‘πππ , please? This is not my first book by him, but he's still newish to me and each book is amazing. He has that perfect, deep drawl that just pulls you in and he mastered bringing Wells to life! ππππππ ππ‘ππππ complimented his voice beautifully with hers and truly did an amazing job making me feel like I was listening to a friend tell their story, as she brought Ivy to life! Beautiful casting for sure!
This is just book 1 in the ππ’π₯π§ ππ²πΏπΆπ²π and I can not wait to dive into the next one. π±πππππ’ π·π’πππ has a forever fan in me!
