Here’s the thing— is this a cute fun read if you’re a fan of Star Trek and the actors who played these characters? Sure. That being said, I should’ve been more mindful of the fact that this was written by William Shatner, ergo, there’s going to be a lot of Willam Shatner inside this “biography,” along with almost zero self awareness or accountability. I think this was made even worse by the fact I listened to the audiobook, so his tone of borderline-victimization in stories he was clearly the bad guy got exhausting very fast. What this book could’ve greatly benefited from is a stronger editor.
