Tonic by Staci Hart

5.0

After meeting Staci Hart in Denver, September 2016, I knew I had to jump in to her books. I am so happy I was able to read this book before it was released! I had just finished reading a book that was so intense, and full of every feel imaginable that I was happy to be able to avoid a reading slump with this gem of a story. (Yes, I needed tissues during this read too but it was so amazing never the less!)

After I found the synopsis for Tonic, and knew that was the book by Staci, I needed to start with! I currently have 6 tattoos on my body and am planning on getting more. Once I found out that the book was about a tattoo shop owned by a pair of brothers, I was sucked in. Adding a reality TV show to the story line and I couldn’t put the book down.

Annika, a strong, stubborn business woman was a fantastic and hilarious lead. Then add, “Hairy”, aka Joel, a swoon worthy male lead, and you have a mix for a romance story that is a perfect example of one that is passionate, smoking hot, with a splash of angst.

Now, that plot twist!!! WHAT THE HECK STACI? I definitely was not expecting it but absolutely loved every second!

ICE QUEEN + HAIRY = ONE HELL OF A STORY!

After learning that Joel was a background character in Last Call by Staci, I am now off to read that story as well!

Grateful to have received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
