I fell in love with this book when I read the Novella a while back and was thrilled when I heard Mallory was doing a full length book.
A history of violence is sharp and full of whit, a book may I add that has such a great Female main character it was hard not for me to love for that point alone!!! Viola is a Psychopath and its a trait she truly radiates proudness of throughout the book. She does what she does with a reason and she speaks to all our inner devils.
AHOV is full of great twists and turns, some which are expected and others you would never guess
Her writing is sharp and to the point and she doesn't allow you to wonder with boredom... a perfect read for those who like dark grey/black reads not dark enough to own that full shade of black category for me
