I just finished this book and I’m going to need some time to recover from this book hangover.
This was a story about pain and loss and redemption, of dark and ugly hurt and how important it is to believe that something beautiful can be born from it.
I read through the water scene, afraid that, even though there was only about 20% of the book left, I would have to DNF because it was too much.
Still, I stuck with it and I’m so glad I did. The hurt and pain and loss—they’re important to feel sometimes. And the joy and love and new beginnings, they’re even more important. This book makes you feel both.
