Seeress of Kell by David Eddings
4.0
And now I've come to the end of this Eddings journey. These books are dated and simple. That doesn't make them bad. Just depends what you are looking to read. I saw a review at some point that said it should be darker and I think it's because there's some darkness and dark concepts that are quickly mentioned or treated lightly to keep it light which works for these books and the story.
This series is not one of those intense, political, twist & turn, complex built fantasy. It is a cozy winter read. It does immerse you in a world full of colorful characters.
While I enjoyed the sparhawk trilogies more, because I liked more of the characters and felt it moved along quicker, these were not bad and had some great characters. Even some of the little side characters were among my favorite. Vella and Porenn to name a couple.
