I have reread this close to ten times. Each time, I notice something I missed before. It's simultaneously incredible and infuriating because I wonder how I could have missed something so obvious. The characterisation is perfect. Experiencing events from multiple points of view adds depth to the narrative and helps you understand why characters behave a certain way, or why they hold certain beliefs. They're all relatable in some way. Even though we get Kaz's point of view, he still keeps his cards very close to his chest, so even if you pick up on every piece of subtext, there's always going to be something you miss.
