The Good Girl by Nikki Sloane

3.0

This series was great, but this was my least favorite.

Preston has been a bit of a douche throughout the series, so it was hard to shift my opinion of him. You can tell that he has obviously grown and matured, BUT he is still living with his dad and going behind his best friend’s back to “date” his sister, so…

Let’s be honest: the whole relationship of Preston and Sydney revolves around the bedroom. I don’t feel like much of a deep connection was established here. This makes it even harder to buy into Preston’s newfound maturity, for me. I wanted to like them, but there just wasn’t a whole lot there.

At least, in the end, the conclusion was Preston moving into a one bedroom apartment and moving on to the next stage of life. I would have been very hard pressed to buy anything beyond that.

I did enjoy how the book came full circle and we got to see the earlier couples progressing in their relationships. This series, as a whole, was really fun and enjoyable.

Nikki Sloane’s writing style is sensational and I will definitely read more of her books.
