This has everything you could want in an epic fantasy. Vis is a great main character I honestly wish we saw more of his perspective and personality, cause he was a smart charming but ruthless man. This magic system is great, but this book felt like so much setup for the rest of the series. I can’t wait for the payoff as I have many questions about the ending .
