I’ve seen plenty of people describe this book as just vibes but I’m glad I read it before I looked up what people thought about it because hey I loved the vibes. So many lesbians and messiness and canon poly rep?? Unexpected but so great. Merritt did annoy me for…a lot of the book for the way she acts towards Audrey but I liked all of the different POVs (especially the historical ones) and the way it jumps around and discombobulates you.
Annoyingly Libby didn’t give me a kindle version and the in-app version really struggled with the formatting (illustrations covering the text, no links to the footnotes) so I had to switch back and forth between a different version but unfortunately it was worth it despite the hassle.
