Grayson, Volume 2: We All Die At Dawn by Steven Mooney, Tom King, Carlos M. Mangual, Mikel Janín, Jeremy Cox, Tim Seeley

2.0

Nothing very memorable. The first issue in this collection is endearing while simple. I'd like to see more of that and less of the uninteresting supporting characters. The whole series is plotted by Tom King and Tim Seeley, but it's clear that King is much better at actually writing a compelling script. As they take turns with writer credits, the quality alternates accordingly.

This book is really doing a disservice to Midnighter, Helena Bertinelli, AND Dick Grayson himself. They're thrown into trope-filled roles within the spy/espionage genre, and lose their best qualities in the process.
